    Description

    This is a 1914 letter from Livingston N. Smith of Chester, MA requesting the cost and sample for 100 engraved cards for his wife.  The first picture is the reply from C. E. Southworth of Bridgeport, Connecticut indicating that 100 cards would cost 1.50 with the plate or fifty cents without the plate.  There are samples of the type of card that would be supplied and the envelope from Mr. Southworth.
